English Chess Federation More than a competition, more than a training day, this
will be a chess extravaganza! Everyone wins a prize! This event will be suitable for
beginners and experienced players.
Coaching will be provided by some of the UK’s top chess coaches. Registration: 10.00am – 10.20am. Play will start at 10.30am. The prize giving will be at 4.30pm. The cost will be £20 per player. We advise that you bring a packed lunch. There will also be a tuck shop selling snacks, sweets and drinks. A high standard of behaviour is expected and children and parents must not go into areas of the school not specifically set aside for the chess. The ECF accepts no responsibility for any damage, theft or accident to the person or property of anyone attending this event. They are unable to act in loco parentis for children. Parents/guardians are responsible for their children throughout the entire duration of this event.
