richmond coaching and tournament day

11th march 2007

The 11th March was another triumph for the coaching and tournament day format.
76 children of a wide range of ages and abilities descended on King's House School, Richmond
They all played 5 competitive games of chess against other teams
and received top class coaching throughout the day.

Thank you to King's House for allowing us to use such a great venue.

The coaching was extremely popular and even attracted some of the adults,
who were keen to learn more about the game that their children love.
Thank you to the coaches who worked so hard on the day:
Chris Ward, Nick Pert, Rosalind Kieran, Ken Coates.

No competitor could win more than one prize.
